What are cookies?
Cookies are small data files stored on your computer when browsing the web. Cookies are used, for example, to register your behaviour on a site and to remember you the next time you visit the same site. Cookies that are registered are mostly used for statistics or to improve the experience of the site. A cookie cannot contain a virus, so it poses no danger to your computer.
Most browsers receive cookies automatically. If you want to avoid cookies, you can do this by changing the settings in the browser.
