ECIT renews its executive management team with the appointment of Thomas Dyhrberg (54) as new Group CFO, following current CFO Mads Skovgaard’s decision to move on to new opportunities and take on a new role outside of ECIT. Thomas brings more than 20 years of experience in senior financial leadership roles, and his expertise will support ECIT’s continued growth and development as a leading provider of accounting and IT services in the Nordic region.
Thomas has extensive experience from senior executive positions in Denmark including CFO positions at SEB Pension, PFA Pension and most recently at Danica Pension. Besides the business career Thomas has a background in elite basketball, being part of the Danish national team.
Thomas now looks forward to joining ECIT:
“I was attracted to become a part of ECIT – building a serious business through acquisitions and organic growth – driving entrepreneurship, energy and innovation.”
CEO Peter Lauring welcomes Thomas to ECIT:
“The experience and expertise brought by Thomas will certainly help ECIT to become a more professional company going forward”.
Thomas had his first day as CFO on 16 January 2026 and succeeds Mads Skovgaard. Skovgaard has chosen to depart from the company to explore new opportunities and will be taking on a role outside of ECIT. Mads will remain in his role until the end of February to ensure a smooth transition.
“We are grateful to Mads, who has been an important part of building ECIT over the past five years” says Peter Lauring.
