Our sustainability approach at ECIT includes environmental, social, and governance (ESG) impacts, focusing on selected UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) relevant to ECIT and its impact areas.

ECIT’s focus areas include enhancing sustainability reporting, which entails reporting our environmental impact, in the form of electricity usage across the Group and Power Usage Effectiveness from our data centres (both owned and co-located).

We continue to work on improving our social and governance aspects. In 2022, we introduced a Code of Conduct and joined the United Nations Global Compact. Learning and development are vital, given that ECIT is people business; our employees play a central role in all our endeavours and achievements.

While specific sustainability targets are pending, we have initiated measurements in key areas for year-over-year benchmarking. This acknowledges the principle that you cannot effectively manage what you do not measure.

The ESG scorecard below displays performance in environmental, social, and governance areas for 2022, 2021, and 2020. ECIT is committed to further improving its sustainability approach, creating value for shareholders, employees, and society in the future.
