When starting a business in Denmark the first thing you must do is choose the specific company type you want and register your company at the Danish Business Authority. VAT and tax

After registering your company the next step is to apply for at VAT registration in Denmark. This has to be done no later than 8 days before starting doing business or it may lead to a fine. 

Furthermore, you have to familiarize yourself and comply with the Danish tax legislation and withhold the correct amount of contribution from the salary you pay your employees.

Digital self-service is mandatory

In Denmark processes regarding tax, registrations, payroll etc. are handled digitally and that means that you are obligated to work digitally in relation to public authorities. For example you need the digital ID called MitID, Digital Post, and a NemKonto, and we can help you with that.
